1) I can tell you 6 underlying assumptions behind the black scholes Merton European option pricing model, but can't tell myself 1 reason why I want to continue working in finance
2) there's people at my firm who are above me, that my firm knows beats their wife - but they won't do anything about it.
3) my personal information ratio is 0.44, my one year time weighted rate of return is 33%, and I have a t statistic on my information ratio which is 6.9 - which implies at any level of significance you choose, the returns on my portfolio are due to skill and not luck.
3.5) despite all this it seems everyone above me only gets there based on who you know and not performance based.
