Hi,

Does anyone here ever stream their content live from location? If so, how do you achieve this--like what's your workflow from the camera out to the internet?

Are you refering to Live Broadcast video? If so, here is a suggestion: Contact Brett Valach at 708-921-7505 or visit his website at WebCastOnline.com
I have done a lot of research and found them to be the more bang for you buck! Tell them Joan at Shaw Productions in Las Vegas told you about them. :)
Also, check out UStream and LiveStream (formerly Mogulus) for additional information. Though I've not yet performed this service, I know people and groups who have used both of these and seem very satisfied with the potential and pricing, as well as the options.
Yea, ustream.tv and livestream.com work well, they offer free services as well paid for more advanced features. few days ago i've tested them, but I need to do more test's and see the if I can get the best result. Standard, you plug in your camera via firewire and just use mozilla for ex. and just broadcast.
Well, there are also third party software like adobe media encoder, that get's the video converted and send's it to the server, this option could give better results. I'm going to test it soon and see how it will work.
