DVProfessionals.com Video Production Community

A network of video production professionals and enthusiasts.

I'm a Videographer who wanted to find a means of obtaining tough overhead shots at events such as wedding, documentaries, movie shoots, etc.  I couldn't find one so I have designed a Mobile Video Camera Support Bracket for obtaining these unique overhead shots at any shoot.  I'm getting ready to roll this product out and I would love to get feed back from any and all of you.

Please view the links below and share with me your honest opinions.  Thank you all.

UH ok I thought a camera crane could do this? And can't a crane bring movement to the shot? and hold any size camera?
Yes a camera crane can do this. If there is no space for a camera crane and you have a need for an overhead shot what then? At movie shoots you can always make room for a crane but when you are shooting other events there may not enough space. I also believe that as videographers when you are shooting personal events you don't want to become a part of the event taking away from the event itself this could be an option for that situation.
One idea would be to sell a separate stand, in the event the ceiling is flat and here is nothing to hang it from. Maybe two pole stands with a pole between to hang the unit from?
Got it. How does this look? A stationary base or a wheeled base can be attached.
