Did any of you check VST out?

Hello Earl,
I did browse thru the VST program. Did find it interesting. Especially the opportunity for the elderly community to share their experiences and stories with their family and friends. I am not too sure if I can visit the story tellers group there at the moment, as the finances are a bit tight due to the recession in UK. But I would be interested in learning more about the program, if you can forward me some videos of the work that has been done there. I would be glad to discuss the opportunities that can be created by collaboration between us. I have been a video editor and owned a post production business since 1998. I am currently in transition of becoming a director. Please let me know if there any possibilities to explore.

Thanks so much for your kind reply, and for taking a look. The current group of us working with VST is putting together a basic demo DVD now, and it will be ready soon. As the program is still in its growing stages overall, with bits of opportunities and events happening, but not a BIG ONE yet, we're anxiously pursuing and marketing to get the social group element established with a larger audience.

When that occurs we are prepared to develop not only a demo that reflects the group of stories, but a behind-the-scenes and/or brief documentary of the people involved before and after their individual sessions as well.

There's a lively discussion going on also at the VST Group here. Check it out if you haven't already. You're welcome to participate and offer your valuable insights as well, regarding how it could work in your corner of the world :-)
