Hi...I have been shooting and editing for about twenty years. I have done some work for local historical societies and a couple of documentaries, the latest being, William S. Hart And The Essence Of American Western Film. the story one of early cinema's first western stars. I work alot with vintage film and photo material and have an avid interest in silent film and early film production. I sometimes wish that alot of the current technololgy was available when I started, I began with a Sears vhs camcorder and hand printed my titles. Sure has advanced since then. I still use a rather simple approach with basic cuts and wipes and I do use a professional voiceover artist in my productions.I was fortunate to have Harry Carey Jr. the character actor who worked with John Wayne and John Ford the director, contribute to the Hart DVD. I want to do more like this in the future however, like alot of us I work from a real skinny budget. Ed Mulhall.

Hi Gang -- I'm new to the group from Wilmington, DE, the home of tax-free shopping and Ryan Phillipe:) My firm is Lou Angeli Digital Imaging and I'm currently working on a docu-drama which examines the decline of the Volunteer fire service in North America. I'd be interested in licensing any clips you may have of volunteer firefighters during actual incident, or even drills.

Hello, I am fairly new and hold a passion for change due to personal experiences. I am seeking to continue what I've begun and through it encourage others to get involved in change. I would like suggestions in order to upgrade equipment and create more professional material that'll engage viewers.
I have an old computer dell cpu gx 150 and have sacrificed funds to purchase a digital video recorder with hard drive.
I'm in nyc and as you can see-( http://www.youtube.com/ricoism )-there's alot going on.
Any suggestions-I'd seriously appreciate it. I have the determination to bring a different perspective to the forefront, Advice?????

moving around alot actually looks amature. You have to be very careful how you move and don't do it alot. I make everyone stay on a professional tri-pod and keep hands off the legs. I only move around if I am using my shoulder tripod or my flycam.
