Panasonic AG-HPX300 - Soft Image?

Hi, I was considering a camera, and was really leaning toward the Panasonic AG-HPX300. I see it has 1/3" imaging chips, rather than the 2/3" I'm used to (and spoiled by). I've seen other 1/3" cameras look a little soft - HD, SD, doesn't matter. Does the 300 have a soft look, or has Panasonic improved the look of 1/3" cameras?

Videography, Post Production/Editing
Tell us about your company or services:
Nearly 20 years experience in video production, primarily in short format (corporate/industrial, educational/informational, and commerical). Strong videography and post-production skills.
What equipment do you use?
Videography: Primarily DVCAM, formerly Beta SP. Can adapt to just about any format, but prefer the standard ENG form factor.

Post-Production: Avid XPress Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro. Prefer the latter. Have also worked in the past on Media 100 and ImMix Video Cube systems, as well as linear systems. Graphics/animation packages include Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects (including Zaxwerks 3D and Red Giant Datamator plugins), Encore, and Soundbooth (all up to CS4).
