I work both independently or with a crew (Faux Reel Productions). I can do the whole one man band routine, however I much prefer (most of the time) to work with other talented filmmakers. My focus is in direction and production.
I am currently working with marketing departments from different agencies to create video content for their upcoming events/campaigns/etc. I'm hoping that this will lead to further commercial work and eventually I'd like to focus on television and web productions (episodic).
I am also at the moment directing and producing a short demo pilot for a hopeful television series. Hopefully, more to come.
What equipment do you use?
Though I usually let someone else do the technical work, I am experienced with most of Panasonic's Prosumer line. I own my own DVX 100b and a Canon Rebel T2i (for video as well as for stills). I cut on Final Cut studio and what little audio work that I do, is in Pro Tools.
