- Digital Imagineering is a high definition video production company, specialising in corporate video and especially the cultural and heritage sectors.
We are based in the Shetland Islands which lie halfway between Scotland and Norway.
Clients include local authorities and public trusts as well as companies and museums.
Recent projects include filming a gold medal winner at the Royal Horticultural; Society's Chelsea Flower Show in London; a promotional film about drug detection dogs and a stage-by-stage film record of a traditional wooden boat build which will form part of a future documentary about this unique type of deep water rowing boat.
We also have produced promotional podcasts for feature films and documentaries in association with Shooting People the international indie filmmaker network www.shootingpeople.org
Two of the films we recently produced audio podcasts for have just been nominated for this year's Grieson Awards, the highest accolade there is for British documentary makers. The films are "We are Together" - about an orphanage choir in Kwazululand, South Africa and "Tovarisch, I Am Not Dead" - about a doctor who withstood torture and evaded death during the Nazi holocaust and in the Soviet Gulags. The film tells the story of his return after the cold war ends when he takes his son back through his own past and has to revisit the prison where he was tortured within an inch of his life. They are both excellent films.

- We use Sony Z1s with Vinten Pro fluid head tripods, Dedolights and Macs running Final Cut Pro
