Andreas Reil said… Hello Pierre, never heart about this russian camera - neither this 35 mm Eclair. I always shot on 16 mm. But I guess I recognize the tripod, is it a Sachtler from the early 80th or late 70th? my very first camera was a Cinema Products 16R - also with a big magazin, but on the top. Quite difficult was filing when it was windy ...
In Arkansas I was 28 years ago - my first wife was from St. Louis and we traveld to New Orleans to visit her aunt. Long time ago
Well, my software, it‘s Sceneum Docu, is totally different from any other software for filmmakers. My idea was to have anything about all project in one software, instead of hundreds of Word documents all around the hard disk.
You start with the idea, the concept, if you work for a (german) TV-station, you have to write synopsis and later a treatment.
The heart is the Script: all your plans, what your team should film at each set, you write down: infos for the cameraman, second unit, sound man, gaffer, you find a field to write down your questions, if you plan an interview find a field for your questions.
From these informations you generate a call sheet for the team and finally you find a field for you narration text.
In Sceneum Docu you keep all your projects and you see the status of every project, what is finished, what must be done ..
Just load down a free trial and find out yourself, if it’s useful for you.
Have a nice evening - hope to hear from you soon.
Andreas Reil said… Hi Pierre, you still work with 16 mm and 35 mm? I shot my last documentary on film in 1989 - with a Aäton LTR 7 - I loved this camera, but in germany the time for film was at the end of th 90th over. Do shoot documentaries on film or ad
Now I'm working most of my time for a company which develops dental implants and I shoot a lot of surgeries. In the rest of my time I develop script writing software for filmmaker. Are you intersted in having a look at Sceneum Docu and telling me your idea about this software?
Best regards from germany
Andreas
Hi Pierre,
