Joel Holland - Videographer, editor and new media nut.
A little about me:
My name is Joel Holland and for me video is both a hobby and a source of income. I fell in love with photography as a 10 year old. By 12 I was in love with technology. Soon thereafter I merged my two interests and became immersed in digital photography, which then transitioned into digital videography. Everything about video excites me, from capturing the "perfect" shot to sharing it with the world through Footage Firm or YouTube.
About my work: I am CEO of Footage Firm, a stock footage company that I founded 7 years ago and have worked hard to grow ever since. Our archive includes footage from around the world. I also founded StockFootageforFREE.com to help budget-concious video editors enhance their productions wihout breaking the bank. There are hundreds of HD and standard definition stock footage clips, and they are all completely free. Most recently, I launched DVProfessionals.com as I have long wished there was a true video production social network complete with forums, videos, interactions and a place for potential customers to find freelancers.

Camera: Canon XH-A1 HDV.
Editing system: Premier Pro
Encoding system: Canopus Procoder
